These Lying Times....Patriotism: The Road to Tyranny

These Lying Times....Patriotism: The Road to Tyranny
By Carl G Loy
7/3/09

Patriotism has been embedded into the American psychic. From parents and schools we have been taught the importance of being patriotic. Patriotism has almost come to mean a form of worship, an idolatry. It has been promoted by government, their media, their history books, by churches and by many organizations. It has come to mean supporting our government and supporting out military, right or wrong; worshiping our flag; pledging allegiance to government.

Patriotism, or being accused of the lack thereof, is used as a weapon to quell dissent and to silence opposition to government policies. Patriotism as an attitude is reinforced by enemies both imagined and real depending upon government's promotion of them. Political parties use it to garner support or to criticize the opposing party.

Without patriotism, government would find it more difficult to form an army, especially to find volunteers willing to risk their lives in foreign lands. The Christian is especially vulnerable to the propaganda and brainwashing that patriotism has become. They consider it a duty to serve government in military conquests, all in the name of freedom and spreading democracy, of course.

Because we have considered it our patriotic duty to submit to government and wage her wars for her, we have enabled government to rape and plunder other nations all over the world and to do the same to her own people. So much courage to fight perceived enemies as defined by government, yet no courage to resist government and protect us from our own government.

Defending family, friends, and neighbors from enemies both domestic or foreign, does not require some oath of office, nor a constitution, no pledge, no sense of patriotism required. It only requires a desire to do right and to do so relying upon God's Word for that Authority. That is the Christian duty and it has nothing to do with government, except in these current times, it is government that has become the domestic enemy.

America has two histories. The one you don't hear much about pertains to the people who left England for religious freedom. We don't hear much about the Mayflower Compact. We don't hear much about these devoted God-fearing people who recognized that all rights come from God. The word patriotism never crossed their mind. Their idea of a new beginning in a new land was to establish a government based on the Word of God. Their use of "We the people," referred to a people desiring to form a government that served God and acted as servants to the people, just as was the Biblical mandate for pastors of churches and their deacons or elders. Eventually, many years later, a group of more learned men, but not men so much devoted to patterning anything after the ways of the early church, and under Masonic influence, formed the Declaration of Independence, which still recognized that all rights came from God. This of course was a direct affront to a king who reserved for himself the dispersing of rights to people, rights that could be taken away at his whim. The Declaration reserved rights for people, as granted by God and claimed self-government accountable to God only, not a King. Although the Articles of Confederation was formed to join a loose association of colonies or states, the Declaration was man's last notable attempt to recognize that all rights came from God and that government was formed to protect those rights. From the advent of the constitution until current day, patriotism has been the means government has used to steer people away from God and from their God-given rights, and toward submission to government. Today, we seek our rights from government, while we watch them being taken away. Patriotism is blind loyalty leading to tyranny. Patriotism has caused people to look to government rather than to God. Patriotism has allowed socialism to ferment and grow. Patriotism has resulted in needless deaths and horror all over the world.

There has been an attempt to discredit our Founders for reasons to undermine our patriotism by enemies of America, namely communism. However, they could have only stuck to the truth of people like Benjamin Franklin and exposed his true allegiance and pagan beliefs, or to the obligations most of the Founders had by oaths to Freemasonry. The Founders knew that America, this New World, was to be the New Atlantis, the New World Order. So it was and so we are. Using patriotism to inspire and deceive, and obligate and enslave, Masonic America has a history not taught. Yet, they do want the credit, so today we see their puff pieces on History Channel and A& E, and obviously they think they are no longer threatened by opposition, which was not always so. There was a time in America when no Mason could even expose his allegiance to that secret society without retribution. He could not hold an office in government. Today, Freemasons hold all major offices in most states and in federal government, including judicial, and as CEO's in major corporations of commerce and banking. Our patriotism serves them well in their agenda to accomplish a new world order of one global government, one economic system, and one religion. From colonial America until today, Freemasonry has prospered its' followers and its' offspring have been communism and nazism; fascism, socialism, and most of the isms we today see, including monopoly capitalism. Without American patriotism, Freemasonry could never have accomplished the Roman / British / American Empire that intends to rule the world. Freemasonry has been and is, Satan's greatest deceit upon what was once, Christian America. Freemasonry has invaded the church, the government, and all commercial and banking interests. Patriotism is the road to tyranny and it is very near its' fruition.

The 4th of July is Freemasony's celebration for all they have wrought in the name of patriotism. Their agenda advances every year while we applaud and bow and serve our masters, sacrificing our own, paying them our dues, and selling our souls. Beware of what being a patriot means when you direct it to government. All governments are of the world and the world's governments belong to Satan.

These Lying Times....The Missing Church ( Part 4 )

I know of no better way to judge the effectiveness of the Church teaching God's Word in Truth than to measure its' influence in history and comparing that to the current day. From the early days of Colonial
America, until today, a great and devastating transformation has taken place. During the days of America's founding as a nation, the influence of the Church was very evident within society and in government. In fact it was such a great influential force that politicians could not hope to be elected to office without addressing and expressing the concerns and aspirations of those who studied God's Word. Yet, today over 200 years later, we see a totally different society and government, where little is the influence of those who may still study God's Word. From those early days, when righteousness restrained the unrighteous, until today when unrighteousness grows unrestrained, what happened? What happened to the influence of His Church? Where is this Church today?

One trend we can follow is the lack of seriousness with which the Word of God is considered. As man became more affluent and enjoyed more conveniences with less hard work required, he saw less and less the need for God. Evil forces such as communism capitalized upon this lapsing devotion to Godly principles and gradually introduced socialism and government controls into accepting attitudes. Today we are left with most Christians playing church more than they are studying God's Word seriously and they readily accept the distortions being promoted as His Word. Too many Christians who placed faith in the Constitution have been too willing to see it ignored when it seemed beneficial to do so. Of course, the Constitution was a secular man made document never acceptable as a replacement for God's Word, nor should it be considered on an equal basis with God's Word. While violations of the constitution have been numerous and seem to be the reason for the shape we're in, it is the disregard for God's Word that has proven disastrous for America as a nation. No nation has ever experienced freedom for its' citizens without a Christian influence, none. All liberty has come from God and when that is recognized and protected as the Declaration of Independence attempted to do, people have enjoyed freedom not otherwise experienced. When a government is based upon God's Word, righteousness and liberty will prevail. When it is recognized that all rights come from God and that governments by man are simply established to protect those rights from those who might want to take them away and deny such rights, then we have the proper order of man's relationship with government.

"Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty" (2 Cor. 3:17).

There was a time when the church was a strong force in holding government accountable and it was a moral accountability. After the Constitution, rather than holding government accountable to God, it became 'holding government accountable to the people.' It became a government of, by, and for the people, and no longer a Godly government designed to protect the people's God-given rights. Still, the church had a profound influence upon secular government for many years until it gradually lost its' savour. As the influence of the church diminished, so did liberty. The church lost its' savour as it began to rely more on the constitution than it did on God's Word. As a result of the missing church, communism has installed socialism in its' place and today we see Christian children being indoctrinated in schools that would have qualified as communist schools some 100 years ago. Socialism may well be the most insidious evil in Satan's arsenal to undermine the freedom of God's people. Introduced as a benevolent way of doing good for the benefit of the group, a system of theft in the name of good works, it progresses into complete tyranny and the enslavement of those it professed to represent. Considering the extent to which socialism has today become the democratic way in America, one has to conclude that the church is missing as a restraining influence. In fact, it is the church that has been transformed into an advocate of socialism.

The Age of Reason and Enlightenment was a period of rebellion against God. It was a time of moral decline in England which gave way to increased crimes and corruption and immorality. The true church seemed to have disappeared. Yet, out of chaos and immorality were raised great speakers for God who spoke with voices of Authority. It is this Authority that has again disappeared. God's Message is one of Authority and should be spoken of with authority. God's Word is the Authority of God and it should be preached with Authority. Those who have preached with this Authority have made a great impact upon people and therefore upon government. Like the Apostles, these men were often imprisoned and persecuted, but not before they too influenced society in a moral way that saw liberty and property rights being recognized as gifts from God. Returning to the Word of God as our Authority is the only means of restoring lost liberty in this nation and it comes at great risk. Government does not recognize the Authority of God and anyone who does is considered an enemy of the state.

Today, we are saturated with false teaching, the most alarming of which is that which uses God's Word to deceive Christians. "A Purpose Driven Life," a book by Rick Warren has become widely accepted and followed by many denominations including the usually most devout churches in America, even all over the world. Because Christians have fallen away from seeking Truth and to study for themselves, they are susceptible to man's false teaching and absolutely none distort God's Word so outrageously and yet so subtle, as does the teaching / preaching of Rick Warren. If it sounds good and feels good, people want to believe it and they do. Rick Warren makes his distorted renditions of the Gospel sound good and feel good and he is leading many thousands astray. While there are a few men of sound doctrine disputing Warren's teaching, they are under funded and unpopular to the world, but I am thankful for their efforts to be a light in the darkness of that has pervaded His Church. Exposing false teaching is a Biblical requirement of the Believer. Warren preaches the Kingdom of Rick Warren, not the Kingdom of God, and his works, his books, his methods, are in direct contradiction to God's Word. Rick Warren is a liar and a deceiver. It is the Rick Warren's in the world that have disappeared the true church. Using pagan translations of the Scripture, many such as Warren, have twisted God's Message to mean what they want it to mean. What that means is that many are being led straight to hell by false prophets. To take a stand against these adversaries of Jesus Christ is not popular. To reprove these false teachings is to take a stand that will divide families and friends and turn one against another.

"You will be hated by all because of my name, but whoever endures to the end will be saved." Matthew 10:22

As Believers, we have a choice; be obedient to God, or be disobedient. Obedience finds liberty and hope in Jesus Christ. Disobedience begets chastisement and punishment. In the end we are either one of His, or we are living in separation from God, without hope. Those without hope try to find it on earth among worldly things. As they live separate from God, so should we try to live separately from them. We are admonished in His Word that righteousness has no business with unrighteousness; nor the clean with the unclean, neither with unequal associations, nor works of darkness. We are to identify, expose, reprove, warn, watch, study, seek, and witness. Otherwise, we are slothful and we are cowards; we are lazy and without courage. When these things are not being preached, when evil is not being identified, and when the Christian is not being taught Truth from the Word of God, one can only surmise that the church is missing.

These Lying Times....The Missing Church ( Part 3 )

These Lying Times....The Missing Church ( Part 3 )
By Carl G Loy
6/3/09

Seeking the missing Church seems almost futile in today's America, but it wasn't always like this. Historical evidence of the Church that preached the Word of God can be found by looking for its' influence upon government and society. For over a hundred years in early America, the Bible was the basis for education. First used in homes to teach reading and moral values, the Bible was also the basis for early school textbooks, such as the New England Primer and later the McGuffey Reader. In time, as the salt lost it savor, The Bible was replaced with Godless indoctrination in government schools of learning. Somewhere along the way the Church with the Word of God had gone missing. Coincidentally, the ensuing education of America's youth produced a society that can't pass a grade school exam from that era, while God's Word became shunned in both the workplace and in government in addition to schools. As a result, Truth and morality were sacrificed, being replaced with relativism and humanism, producing the most poorly educated and immoral youth in the world. Without the true Church, there is no restraint against evil.

A very obvious and abrupt decline in morality occurred immediately following the banning of prayer in government schools. Over the next few years, teen age pregnancies drastically increased, as did divorces, as well as a dramatic increase in crimes. The new age of sex, drugs, and violence, beget an increase in venereal disease and teen age deaths. Abortion became acceptable. Vulgarity and profanity became the norm. Movies and music depicted sex and drugs and profanity as acceptable. The Church preaching the Word of God had obviously gone missing or was effectively neutralized. Coincidentally, grades such as SAT scores took a nosedive immediately following and for several years after the court took prayer out of schools. At about the same time, curriculums began to ignore founding documents such as the Declaration of Independence, which recognizes that our rights come from God. You just can't allow a Creator God in a humanist environment that denies God as the source of anything. It should not be overlooked that Communism exerted a tremendous influence in America and eliminating the influence of the Church was necessary for Socialism / Communism to thrive. Communism greatly neutralized the influence of the church and that evidence can still be seen today. Communism is not dead. It is very much alive and growing.

Government has greatly benefited from how it likes to see God's Word used, but it is not the Truth of the Word that is acceptable to them. It is a distorted version that deceives people into believing such things as was mentioned in Part 2, that government is ordained or appointed by God. Another benefit is how patriotism is viewed. By using God along with Country and the Constitution as being synonymous with being a good Christian, government is enabled to make patriotism an appeal to God's People to make government at least equal to God, a form of idolatry, as if two masters can be equally served. Willingness to die for one's country is made to seem a Christian obligation which has seen Christian parents willingly send their children off to war for whatever reason is determined necessary by government. Patriotism has been the means by which government can wage war for the most un-Christian reasons as history has often exposed. The missing Church knew that God was the only Authority over them and they exerted this influence in a great way, as was seen in the founding of our nation. We don't see that influence in America anymore. Today, the church serves government's best interests, some due to deception, a few out of fear, but most do so because they have not rightly divided the Word of Truth and have a believed a lie. Today, government depends upon pastors to keep their congregations submissive and obedient to government, and yes, patriotic. The missing Church was at the forefront in the fight against King George, a time when patriotism was really about freedom and not about conquest. Wonder what they'd think of what the government has now become, that they unwittingly helped install with a man made constitution. It should be noted that most were against replacing the Articles of Confederation with a Constitution and for good reason.

There was a time when the Church or clergy performed marriages as a religious moral affair without government involvement. As the church strayed from the Word of God, it embraced another god, one that was made a party to marriage, the government. Today, Christians join together with government under a contract and marriage is subject to a license and a tax as permission for marriage. Even though the government will allow a member of the clergy to sanctify that union, it is only approved if by a licensed servant of the state, a licensed minister who has been granted the permission to perform marriages. In the day of the Word of God Church, marriages were recorded in the Bible, as were births. Of course as the church turned up missing, even births were required to be recorded by the state, becoming one of their human resources and subject to the debts placed upon their future labor.

Today, we find that so many human resources are not needed by government and their corporations, and abortions and disease are used to deplete those numbers, as well as it is a side benefit of war. Of course, there is another agenda at work that goes unrestrained because of the missing Church. It's fruition will include a one world religion. Today, many Christians do not understand that everyone does not have to believe in the same gods in order for there to become a global religion. We just have to be tolerant and accept that all belief systems are equally valid. Of course, belief in Jesus Christ is not acceptable since He did not offer such options and tolerance and compromise were not His Teaching.

Without the influence of the true Church, heresy is accepted within many churches. Where heresy was once confronted, it is now condoned and presented as truth. Jesus Christ was accused of blasphemy because He claimed to be as one with God, the penalty for which was to be stoned to death. Instead, He was crucified. Today, blasphemy is found in most churches and is rampant in government and in society, and it defiles the Word of God. There is no penalty and no chastisement because they are not God's People that are doing this. Their penalty is death without hope and a torment that lasts forever. The missing Church would be telling them exactly that.

The missing Church did not believe in Socialism or any other form of theft. If one was seen as in need, charitable provisions were made for them, but otherwise, you ate, if you worked. The missing Church would not have been deceived by the War on Poverty, the War on Drugs, the War on Terrorism, or any other so-called war. The very presence of those who believed and lived the Word of God kept corruption at bay. Without the Church preaching the Word of God, there has been no restraint on the evil so evident in today's society. As a result, corruption is rampant in government and in society. The real war is a war of spirituality. Both the serious followers of Jesus Christ and of Lucifer well know this. It is the ignorant masses that are the victims of the missing church.

The missing Church was made up of those who had a passion to try to live according to God's Word, a righteous life. They expected to be chastised when they sinned. They understood the need for repentance in seeking forgiveness. They didn't just understand, they felt it. They were burdened until they repented. They were seen as "different,' not like others. Unlike what is being preached today, there was no equal brotherhood except that among true Believers and that among unrepentant non-believers. All have sinned, but only some are freed from that bondage, only those for whom Christ died on the cross, and only those are equal in brotherhood in Christ. The brotherhood of the missing Church were servants to God, not to government, not to sin, not to materialism. Today some churches preach a brotherhood of all being morally equal with different paths to become like God. Even Billy Graham has gone from preaching being born again to saying that there are ways to God other than thru Jesus Christ, yet God's Own Word says Jesus is the only Way to the Father and Jesus Says ye must be born again. Grace is not offered to the unrepentant. One prominent minister said that when man fails to repent, he is out of fellowship with God, but the Bible says an unrepentant person has never even seen God, so there could never have been fellowship with God in the first place. This minister also says we are all of one brotherhood, the human race, have all equally sinned and all are forgiven simply by asking for forgiveness. Which is it? Is repentance necessary, or not? That minister was the pastor of the Clinton's Methodist church in DC. There are only two brotherhoods, those who sin without God's Forgiveness and the brotherhood of Believers whose sins are forgiven by God. The missing Church understood this and preached it. As a result, sin stayed in the dark; homosexuals stayed in the closet; those who did wrong knew they did wrong and they hid from those who tried to do right. Not anymore. Sin has become popular. Because the Church that preached God's Word has gone missing, many no longer even know right from wrong. Those who do know don't seem to care. Has anyone noticed that as the Church went missing, the work of the Holy Spirit in the lives of men, also became less evident? That is a bad omen of terrible things to come. Few Christians will be prepared for what is coming because the true Word of God is so little being preached. The salt is missing. The Message has not been preserved in the churches of today. The Light to a darkened world is over-shadowed by the glitter of false teaching. Who is left to tell the people they are being deceived? Who will tell them they are going to spend eternity in hell? Who will tell them that Jesus Christ is the only WAY?

Can America experience another Great Awakening? Will there be another great Revival as there was in England and then in America? When moral values had become virtually non-existent in those days, it took only a few men of God preaching His Word to cause great change and bring about an awareness that only Jesus Christ was the Way. These great men of God pulled no punches and many of them suffered for it. They preached a Message that identified the road to Hell for all who did not repent and seek forgiveness and believe. They identified sin leaving no stone unturned and many souls were saved from eternal damnation. As a result, righteousness flourished and evil was once again restrained for a time. Considering the number of false prophets that are today misleading the people and the distorted Scripture being preached, it would seem more likely that only the Return of Jesus Christ can stamp out the evil that prevails. The true Believer is told to occupy until that time and God has made us over comers for that purpose.

These Lying Times....The Missing Church ( Part 2 )

These Lying Times....The Missing Church ( Part 2 )
By Carl G Loy
6/2/09

When religion mattered, it was that 'old-time religion' that mattered most, but it went the way of the missing Church. While religion still matters in the sense that it may define a moral code and belief system, religion can be just as used for evil as for good and it often is, as history recalls for us. Every atrocity imaginable has been committed in the name of religion, Christianity included. It is little wonder that so many have been turned off to anything resembling a religion and have been turned on to the pleasures of the world. Yet, those same ones are often, even unknowingly, embracing a corrupted form of religion. Man is always going to believe in something, even if it is paganism. The more the Church has gone missing, the more have pagan beliefs become acceptable, and the more in vogue have become the churches of false teachings.

It has been said that only about 10% of the early colonists were practicing Christians, yet that small number wielded a tremendous influence in both government and society. Their great courage and boldness and living example made an impact that kept restrained the evilness that would otherwise have prevailed. Their ministers and their churches were a moral and righteous influence prevailing upon others. Over the years, the Church ceased to identify sin and wickedness and failed to practice discipline. Feelings became more important than souls. Tolerance and compromise replaced sound doctrine. Loving and being kind came to mean accepting others as they were, being careful not to offend. Dare not point out the mistakes of sin; just preach forgiveness. Somewhere along the way, church discipline and repentance were lost in the equation.

The Church is not only missing, it has given way for the fake church to be deceiving and misleading people. Even the church that most seems to preach the Word of God is failing to warn the people. You can't preach submission to government and to God as being Biblical for God has said that we have to choose which master we serve, and both are jealous masters and adversarial in nature. Today, most all churches teach an obedience to government as a commandment. It is a teaching that has completely compromised the Church and made it largely useless in restraining evil in America, beginning with evil in government. Ignoring that the Word of God tells us that we should stand strong against wickedness, preached is our submission to government because (all governments) are appointed by God. God appointed righteous government for Israel and warned them of what was to come if they opted for a king. God's relationship with the Israel of the Old Testament in nothing like the relationship we have been provided in the New Testament after the Sacrifice at the Cross.

Many Christians do not realize that there was no Holy Spirit at work in the Old Testament. God spoke directly to those He Chose as Prophets or He used Angels to carry His Message to the people of Israel. While God's methods for dealing with His People might seem harsh at times, they really had it rather easy as long as they obeyed God. If they disobeyed, He chastised them. Sometimes He removed them, if they continued to disobey, but most often He was longsuffering and gave them more than one chance to straighten up before they were spanked. Ignored by today's preaching is that God's appointment of rulers for Israel was done in a world where they were surrounded by other kingdoms with other rulers, not of His Choosing. In other words, God appointed only the rulers for Israel. He allowed other rulers from other lands to capture His People as a form of their punishment, but He also destroyed other rulers in order to protect His People because of His Love for them.

God has never "appointed" a ruler of any country or nation since His People were dispersed into other lands under other governments. To try to use Scripture for purposes of making God's People of today, to be submissive to any government is a complete mis-application of God's Word, but it is what is being preached throughout America. In fact, the Teaching of Jesus Christ recognizes that civil rulers are appointed by Satan. The Church cannot be a restraint against evil if it is not teaching Truth. Today, if the Holy Spirit does not work in our lives to bring us to Jesus, God's punishment is Hell for eternity. It might have been easier living under the rule of King David who doesn't seem held to such a high standard as we have today, but he knew what repentance was.

The missing Church would be warning the people and exposing evil, if that Church were here. It would be the light and the salt. It would not encourage obedience to a government by funding what are abominations to the Lord. It would fear God more than government, thereby charting the course required to follow Jesus Christ. It would identify the criminal government for what it was and is, and prepare people for what to expect from their refusal to submit. The missing Church would be feared by government due to its' righteous influence upon society as a whole. The missing Church would be bold and courageous and steadfast, and hated by the wicked, just as they hated Jesus. The missing Church would practice church discipline, and as the old minister said, "they'd get right or they'd get out." The missing Church would be preaching the Word of God; not just a part of it; not a distorted version, not a feel good piece, and not a very popular entertaining one for the outside world. The missing Church would truly be the home of the brave, joyful in the Lord, everlasting Salvation assured, actively waiting, but busy in His Work, spreading the true Word of God. We are missing the Church that would make a difference. And of course, the missing Church would be persecuted; it is not welcome here.

These Lying Times....The Missing Church ( Part 1 )

These Lying Times....The Missing Church ( Part 1 )
by Carl G Loy
6/1/09

An old minister in Louisiana was once quoted as saying, "If you preach the Word of God they will either get right or get out." Apparently, the Word of God is not often preached for they have not gotten right and they have not gotten out, at least not in the mega churches. In fact church growth is the name of the game, not the Word of God. While there are claims that church attendance is declining, the churches not preaching the Word of God are experiencing unprecedented growth and the money is rolling in.

Some churches are more popular than others. Perhaps those dying churches are the ones where the Word of God was preached, but it wasn't a popular Jesus that was preached. Perhaps they didn't get right and they left. Sound doctrine is just not comfortable for most. Who are these Christians that shy away from the Word of God, who don't want to hear about sin and its' consequences, who don't want to hear about repentance, about hell, about the requirements to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ? I suggest that they are Christians in name only. Regardless, many are found in the popular churches where they are not confronted with the Word of God. They have sought entertainment and feel-good messages from the pulpit, having their ears tickled and their worries soothed. The pick and play gospel that ignores the Truth of God's Word satisfies the sinful. No convictions requiring repentance, no uncomfortable moments; just God so Loved the World, paid the price; just believe and all is forgiven.

America, claimed by many to be a Christian nation, a nation, whose capital city with it's many government buildings of great splendor, which are adorned with gods and goddesses, prohibits even the mention of Jesus Christ wherever it can. America, where elaborate church buildings are found on many street corners and whose rural landscape is dotted with churches, seems to be missing the true Church where the whole Word of God is preached. The Christian influence that existed in America at the time of her founding is today rarely found. As a result, where the righteous are diminished, evil has flourished. The Word of God that was once preached is mostly absent in today's churches. It's just not popular and popularity is required for growth and for donations.

Another old pastor years ago proclaimed that Christ preached His Message for three years and was crucified and that he had been preaching that same message for thirty years, yet nothing happened, and he thought something had to be wrong. Perhaps what was wrong was that so few listened he wasn't considered a threat. You see, one can preach that Message all day long and as long as no one pays any attention, no one cares. It is when people pay attention and try to heed that Message that things can become risky. Many were listening to the Message that Jesus Preached. It got Him killed. That same Message is getting others killed today in some foreign lands. We think we are a Christian nation because we don't see that experience in America. We don't see it because, for one thing, that Message is not much preached and when it is, few pay attention, and secondly, the media does not tell us the truth when those who do proclaim His Message are persecuted. The incorporated church is a compromised church and cannot in that status preach God's Word in total. What it does preach is a distorted message, one that is approved by both government and its' members, and the world. The true Church preaching His Message is mostly missing in America. As a result, many are the Christians who are not really born-again believers. They are believers, but they have never experienced salvation because they've never really heard the Word of God and neither have they studied His Word for themselves. Unfortunately, too many Christians read words with preconceived ideas about what they mean, much of it based on what man has told them it means. Many Christians can't even tell you why they believe what they believe as it relates to God's Word. That is evidence of the missing church in America.

I am reminded of the story that was told about 50 years ago about an atheist who was going to attend a country church revival, where the evangelist was said to be a hellfire and brimstone preacher. When asked why in the world he was going, he replied, "Because I love to see all those hypocrites squirm." That won't happen in today's watered down preaching. We don't want to feel guilty. Guilt means repentance is required. Repentance requires asking for forgiveness. But that is not all. Forgiveness is not haphazardly given. It requires that we turn away from that sinful nature, and sin no more. Repetitious sin is an indication that we did not truly repent, that we are not really one of His Children. Repentance with Forgiveness also requires that we take up His Cross daily and follow Him. It may mean the loss of wealth and much hardship. It may mean the loss of relationships. We may experience ridicule and persecution.
That's what God's Word tells us, but that is not the God's Word you are going to find preached in most churches. How many times will you hear, that except ye be born again, ye cannot enter the Kingdom of God; that you are hell-bound? Hell is little preached, yet hell, a consuming fire, is mentioned in various ways far more than is Heaven. Yet, there are those who claim that this is all myth; that it just means separation from God. It is surprising how many Christians don't believe in hell, or the devil, that believe in re-incarnation, even. These distorted beliefs ferment and grow because the Word of God is not preached. The true church, the one preaching the Word of God, is mostly missing in America.

Many will no doubt argue that the church is very much alive; that His Word is preached from many pulpits in America. We know that His Word tells us that there will always be a Remnant, but It also says that the time will come when most will stray and will be influenced by false teaching. I think we are there. Today, the serious Truth of the Teachings of Jesus Christ would offend the sensitivities of the unrighteous. Government would not be amused. What Jesus Preached was revolutionary and not politically correct. In order to make Jesus acceptable in today's churches, His Message is often taken out of context, or made to appear to apply to those ancient times and not applicable for today. God is not amused. His Word details the wrath that will befall these false teachers.

A lady recently told me that the Bible was written by men and subject to human error. Yet she claims to be a Christian who believes that the Bible was inspired. It's just that all of it is not true. She couldn't explain how she knew what was true and what was not, except that just common sense told you some things couldn't be true. What convinced her that some of the Bible was inspired? Some things she had read, she said. Weren't these written by man, I asked. Well, yes, but they were scholarly men. This happened to be from a conversation with a retired grade school teacher. She is a good person, but she has been blinded to the Word of God, probably never having heard it as It should be heard preached. She attended church, but she missed out on the Word of God from the true church, the missing church.

The true Christian can be easily recognized. An obsessive desire to please God and to hear and study and understand His Word cannot be hidden. Within them resides the church that is missing on the landscape, and it can be seen in them. In this sense the missing church can still be found, but as a body of Followers faithfully receiving His Truth on a regular basis, rare is it found. The church preaching the Word of God is missing.

These Lying Times....The Greatest Decision Ever Made

These Lying Times....The Greatest Decision Ever Made
By Carl G Loy
5/10/09

Great decisions are often little more than perceptions thus seen. Decisions having a profound affect upon a nation, even upon the world, have often been for evil purposes, although many have seen them as otherwise. Man has often viewed great decisions as being what made great men, great statesman, great generals, great presidents, etc. Yet, what seemed great when made and what history recorded to thus enhance that perception, such greatness has often been found lacking, when one researches all the mitigating factors, the ulterior motives, the ideology, the spin, the morality, the adverse affects, the evil made to appear good.

Lucifer, God's most special and powerful angel, made a terrible decision. We are told that he had been given power unequaled by other angels. He was extremely intelligent. He was unequaled in beauty. He was given control of the air. He was the greatest musician. Lucifer had great influence over all the other angels due to the powers and position granted him by God. In fact, Lucifer was God's favorite. All this went to his head. He became prideful and self-centered, and he wanted to be God, not serve God. And he made a terrible decision. He deceived other angels with his power and oratory, convincing them that he could equal God as the Most High. He conspired to take control of the Heavens in a rebellion against His Master. That decision resulted in his being thrown from the presence of God along with one third of the angels, those who had been deceived by him. Lucifer and his demonic angels did not lose their powers in the process and that is what so many Christians seem to ignore, or are not taught in their churches. Lucifer, the fallen angel, the "brightest star", aka, Satan, God's adversary, that Devil, the Liar, continues to wield his powers over the earth, deceiving and leading people away from God. He is devious and powerful and no one on earth is a match for him. The greatest of men cannot outwit Lucifer / Satan, that sly old Devil. Man cannot do battle Satan and win. Only God / Jesus Christ can overcome Satan and He Has, and therein lies the hope of all who follow Him.

Prior to the Crucifixion, Satan approached Jesus Christ and offered him all the kingdoms of the earth, if He would just bow and worship him. He offered Jesus the Christ all the earth, a temptation few would have been able to reject. In Scripture that relates this meeting between Satan and Jesus, we can discern that Satan did have rulership over the earth, that he owned the kingdoms and this means governments. This alone tells us that Satan had great power; that Satan appointed governments, not God, for God only appoints righteous government; that Satan knew that Jesus knew all this. Here was an opportunity to bypass the coming death on the cross. Simply by accepting Satan's offer, Jesus could switch Masters from His Heavenly Father who would allow Him to die a terrible death, to one, Satan, who would save him from death and give him all that lay before Him in the world. Jesus Christ was faced with a decision.

Satan has offered wealth and success and power to countless individuals in much the same way he tempted Jesus Christ. Many have sold their souls to Satan, as a result of the decisions they made. Many have done so, knowing the consequences, but could not turn down the appeal of the immediate benefits. Others have been deceived to think that Lucifer is actually the "Light" and the god that will grant them their desires both here and in the hereafter. It is the latter that has been most useful to Satan for they are the most deceived and the most influential on others. We have seen the tremendous influence of music on our culture, the impact of which has destroyed many lives and souls. Jimmie Page and Led Zeppelin, the Rollin' Stones, and others became servants of Satan, using their music and drugs to lead youth away from the true God. Most rock and roll stars made a decision at some point in their life to trade their souls for fame and fortune and became servants of Satan. Many of them think Lucifer is actually God. It seems useful to remember that Lucifer was the most prolific and talented musician in Heaven before he was thrown out. He was the Heavenly Piper, at one time entertaining the angels and worshiping God with his heavenly music. Today, he seeks to take people away from God with his chaotic music and lyrics. The same temptations of fame and fortune and power have been offered to others and can be seen in the governments of the world, in Hollywood, in our schools, in business, even in churches. Satan's decision to overthrow God has had a profound affect on all peoples of the world as he uses those same talents and powers to destroy God's Image, God's Creation.

The Greatest Decision ever made was the decision of Jesus Christ not to accept Satan's offer, thereby insuring God's Plan of Salvation thru the sacrificial Blood of Jesus Christ on the cross and His Resurrection. That decision defeated Lucifer once and for all. However, that does not mean that Satan is kept restrained from creating havoc on earth, nor is his control of worldly kingdoms hindered. His temptations continue as he seeks to destroy evidence of, and worship of, God on earth. Jesus has said that His Kingdom is not of this world. Therefore, man has no business trying to establish one for Him here. This world belongs to Satan.

The greatest decision ever made in all earthly times guaranteed man a way out of Satan's world and its' eternal condemnation and punishment. Jesus Christ made that decision with the ultimate sacrifice facing Him. He made it for His Chosen People, a people of all races, a people He Foreknew whose own decision chose life after death as He so Persuaded them to do with the Holy Spirit. Because of the Greatest Decision ever made, we can have His Protection from the temptations of Satan and in the name of Jesus Christ we too have defeated Satan. That is the spiritual power given those who Focus on Jesus Christ, a result of the Greatest Decision ever made.

A Response to an Article in the Dade County Sentinel

Sent to "Letters to the Editor" Response to article by Christopher Thornton
Dade County Sentinel - April 8,2009 Trenton, Ga.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Regarding the recent article entitled, "A Master Plan for Dade County."

The collectivist mind set was much exemplified by the content of the above named article, which could more appropriately be called, "A Marxist Plan for Dade County."

Some few years ago, we would have recognized the centralized planning advocated by the writer as nothing less than communist ideology, but it is a combined goal under both fascism and communism and is more reasonably called collectivism, where individual liberty is sacrificed for the "common good." In fact, this article tells us that we should set aside apathy and selfishness for "common good," that we should "rise above ourselves for common good," that we should take time away from our personal life for the "greater good." This is right out of Karl Marx's playbook on which Communist Doctrine intends for the few to control the many.

Where else do we find this ideology? It is the United Nations/UNESCO plan for local government in public/private partnerships to eventually control all property and human behavior. Sustainable Development and Smart Growth are a couple of the terms used to consolidate power and control of property in the hands of a few. One of their methods is to establish groups that will set up 10 and 20 year plans for local growth. Individual liberty and property rights are the sacrifices expected for their "common good,' which advances the global goals of small groups to define who can do what, and where and when they can do it.

I would challenge this writer to consider the sources and thinking behind his recommendations because they are certainly not his own. Socialism has already taken over our Republic, and Communism / Fascism, aka, Collectivism in its' final stages will bring us all under a totalitarian government. What this article advocates is another step in that direction.

The writer also advocates volunteerism? Where have we seen that before? It was a fundamental part of Hitler's Nazi Germany and it has been advanced during every American administration, but none so much so as under the current president. The writer suggests that there should also be investor's, those with the money to make his agenda happen. I'm not sure what he meant when he said that these investors would have to be motivated by making it meaningful for them. I suppose something other than sacrificing for the "common good" is necessary for them to make an investment in a Marxist plan for Dade County. Sounds like he thinks they will want to see a profit. I suggest that such profit would come from the taxpayer who will bear the burden and be sacrificed for the "Plan."

In addition, the writer mentions various means of increasing revenue, such as special functions to increase hang-gliding, horse shows, bicycling, etc. I suggest that constitutional government has no justification for such things, but of course, those such as this writer are not interested in what a constitution says, that places such limits on government.

If this writer is truly concerned about the future of Dade County, I'd suggest he use his time to uncover what is being spread over our skies in the form of particulates in Chemtrails, or why we can't remove toxic fluoride from our water supplies. Of course the collectivist, the communist, the fascist are more concerned with limiting individual freedom and placing power over others in the hands of the select few.

Beware of those who claim to do good, but hide evil, whether knowingly or unknowingly.

The above generated a reply that generally ignored what was written above, and which seemeed to address things I had not said.

While the following may make little sense to those who have not read the original article which I addressed, nor the response to what I wrote above, I am posting the following as a reference for readers of the newspaper who want to follow this thread, rather than continuing dialogue that can become too lengthy for a letter to the editor.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Regarding the response generated from my previous letter to the editor.

The question I intended made in my previous letter to the editor was whether or not we want a government bureaucracy to determine our future. Do we want to allow a small group of government officials along with so-called citizen "stakeholders" to dictate the use of our property, to have the ability to increase our taxes, and to sponsor whatever they deem to be in the best interests, the "common good", of the people of Dade County? The problem is having such control in the hands of a few who can push an agenda that sacrifices individual rights. What I addressed previously had nothing to do with neighbor helping neighbor, which we should all do, by our own conscience, not dictated to do. It related to having a group of appointed bureaucrats determine how we as individuals enjoy our property and our lives. We have too much of that already.

I was addressing an article that was obviously based on goals established by Agenda 21 (United Nations-Earth Summit), which presented a plan to influence all municipalities to embrace a sustainable development agenda that is designed to allow control of property to be exercised by a few people, mostly without government oversight, but with government involvement. While it is made to sound good, it can and does render a loss of individual liberty, and it is being implemented in every town and city, including Dade County.

(I was accused of not understanding Karl Marx)
Secondly, my mention of Karl Marx was not without knowledge of his writings and of his life. While he maintained that capitalism exploited the masses, he was in fact financed by capitalists. He began his early life as a Christian, but by the time he was out of high school, he was dreaming about destroying a world created by God and he professed a hatred for humanity. He particularly hated both Germans and Jews. He would claim to be an atheist, but many of his writings, some in poetry, were more indicative of someone who was a Satanist. His idea of socialism was a basis on which to establish communism, which was his diabolical plan to destroy humanity, particularly Christianity. Marx's socialism is legalized theft. His legacy is one of creating class warfare in a never ending struggle, but controlled by violence. While he proclaimed the end result to be a utopian state where all shared equally, he placed all ownership and control in the hands of the state. Morality was totally rejected in the society he envisioned and the nuclear family and it's values were to be demoralized and eliminated. Marxism could just as aptly be called Satanism. Marx and Engels blamed ownership of private property for the disparity of wealth and their aim was to see it abolished. Why? Because property rights are the basis of our individual rights. Their ideas are evident in America where the government and partnerships, and 'trusts', are gobbling up enormous acreage and increasing their restrictions on what they don't own, but want to control. Freedom and socialism are like oil and water.

(I was accused of McCarthyism)
As for Joe McCarthy, history has proven him to be correct about the infiltration of Communism in America. Of course a communist tactic is to ridicule and denigrate the messenger that exposes them and their plans.

(Although I never mentioned Capitalism, it appeared from the response that I was upholding Capitalism. Writer said capitalism was a failure and we needed a balance between Socialism and Capitalism).
As for Capitalism being a failure, it is government protected monopoly capitalism that is the culprit, not the free enterprise system that rewards individual effort based upon filling the needs of others. America has greatly benefited from capitalism and enjoyed prosperity far more than any other nation because of it. The International Capitalists / Bankers love Communism because they are at the top and the masses are but their slaves. A world government based upon the "balancing" of corporatism and communism is what we can soon expect. The individual will either accept "group-think" or he will be dispensable. To try to balance good and evil still leaves in place, evil. Monopoly capitalism controls America and much of the world and it has been made to appear to fail in order to blend with Communism for that balancing "Third Way," which is currently coming to fruition. It is a "balance" no lover of liberty would embrace except by ignorance.

The problems we have today are not just those caused by both greedy capitalists and communists who pretend to be enemies, when in fact they are both striving for the same goal, a one world government, but it is the failure of people to hold government accountable, while accepting personal responsibility. We are being affected by the symptoms of the problem without recognizing the problem. The problem is a spiritual one and will only be resolved when the true God says, "Enough!"

Compromising Christians are just as much to blame for the shape of the world as is the evil that permeates the world, whether it be in the form of capitalism or communism, or some other 'ism. There is much more involved than just calling capitalism a failure.

As for what is being a Christian and Christianity, sooner or later, we will either bow and serve another master or we will resist, and we will be judged accordingly.

"Take heed that no man deceive you." Matthew 24:4

In reference to Mr Chris Thornton's second article published last week, I feel compelled to respond.

George Washington said that private property and freedom are inseparable. Unfortunately, an assault onprivate property ownership has greatly increased in recent years and although it comes from various directions, it is derived from the same ideology. This ideology is being advanced and placed into affect under Communitarian principles that see the interests of society as best served when controlled by a small group in power along with their agents. Whereas American law was written to protect the individual, we are being moved in the direction of social justice, where the larger group is to be served by the sacrifice of the individual. It is nothing less than Communism which begets socialism under the guise of capitalism, which we can see occurring in America today. There is not a lot of difference in monopoly capitalism and Socialism and they go hand in hand, evil personified.

Public/Private Partnerships, which is government using business and business using government to farther goals that greatly benefit a few, at the cost of the taxpayer, are examples of how capitalism and socialism join together. Depending upon perception it could be called fascism, communism, socialism, or even monopoly capitalism, but it is collectivism or socialism, regardless, and it is happening in every town in America. It is a part of the Sustainable Development agenda that has its' origin in the United Nations Agenda 21 of 1992. Although Sustainable Development covers all use of the earth and human behavior down to your reduced water use toilets, it's assault on individual property rights is alarming to anyone who values freedom. One way this agenda is advanced on a local level is thru Stakeholder Councils. The proponents of this agenda like to use the words 'consensus' and 'vision' as a means of implementing their ideas and minimizing opposition. The end result is a group of non-elected officials having authority over individual property, but are not accountable to voters.

Stakeholder meetings usually present themselves as desiring input from community leaders, and is usually initiated by a local official or politician or a non-profit organization, and never by an average citizen. A stakeholder meeting is always managed by a trained facilitator whose job is to guide the group toward a pre-
determined outcome, a desired consensus by those behind the plan. No minutes are kept of any voicing of disagreement and if such is not persuaded, it is ignored. The end result is that local government usually rubber stamps what these groups want, but it is actually a very few that are representing an agenda that the
average citizen and property owner would never approve.

There can be many projects advanced by different organizations that use the stakeholder approach. Sometimes they instill fear as a tactic to push their agenda, or it may be a problem they have created and now offer a solution, or it could be related to a legitimate problem like high traffic areas near schools and the need to take property to re-route a road. Whether or not there is thought to be a good reason, it is still an assault on private property rights and individual freedom, a communistic use of the call for individual sacrifice for the greater number. Oddly, it never benefits the greater number, but only a few. When it applies to land use, we need to be extremely wary. What is made to sound good and to make opposition appear selfish is just a method these socialists use to push their goals.

I don't know if Mr Thornton is a trained facilitator or not, or if he is on some payroll to advance the agenda of some non-government U.N. related organization, or non-profit, masquerading as a "we need a vision for Dade County." I do know that what he promotes is exactly what is planned to accomplish total control by a few
under a one world government where individual property is either non-existent, or totally controlled.

I suggest we ask every local official every day, "What did you do today to preserve our freedom?" We can see every day what they do to destroy it. Mr Thornton obviously plans to do his part. Beware of Stakeholder meetings, Public/Private partnerships, Smart Growth; Planned growth, all a part of the U.N. world Sustainable Development program to destroy freedom. It's happening everyday right in front of our eyes, step by step. It is a battle of ideas, whether we recognize it or not. It is between tyranny or liberty. Do we resist or submit? That's what is being faced.

Relative to the recent submissions by Mr Chris Thornton regarding his "Vision for Dade County", I would like to point out again, that his ideas are not his own. I do not know from what source he has taken them as it can be from some government agency or a non-government organization, but they originate as far back as 1976 in Vancouver, British Columbia at a meeting of the United Nations "Conference on Human Settlements." Their opening statements included this: 'Land should not be treated as an ordinary asset controlled by individuals which allows a concentration and accumulation of wealth and therefore contributes to social injustice.' They proceeded to make the following points: 'It is government's responsibility to redistribute populations in accord with resources; Government should control land use thru zoning and land use planning; Government must control use of land to achieve equitable distribution; Excessive profits from land use should be recovered by government; Owner rights should be separated from development rights, which should be held by a public authority; Public ownership should be used to control urban and rural reform.' As you can see, this is a direct affront to individual liberty and private property ownership. It is also the stepping stone to a global government and the loss of sovereignty.

Some of the preceding was also published by the Council on Foreign Relations in 1973, and was introduced at the UN Conference on the Human Environment in Stockholm in 1972, so this is not something new. In fact, the planning for the UN Sustainable Development agenda can be found long before that, but it came to the forefront in 1992 at the UN's earth Summit, Agenda 21. It is an agenda that is and has been gradually implemented every since. Remember the days of so-called 'urban development' of the 60's and 70's? It's just the same old body being expanded with a different face.

Sustainable Development policies are intended to take away private property ownership and control to be replaced with top down centralized planning of the entire economy. It is about wealth re-distribution. It uses all angles, especially environmental, wildlife, going green, wetlands, preserving land for future; returning land to its' normal state of hundreds of years ago, etc. It's tools are public-private partnerships, land trusts; foundations; as well as governments actually buying land, often using eminent domain, on the pretense of protecting for the common good.

New words replace old. Old words take on new meanings. They sound good. "Community development," what could be wrong with that?" "Historic preservation," land use, environmental protection, diversity, visioning, open space, green space, comprehensive planning, community service, stakeholders, smart growth, the need for "social justice;" what do all those really mean? First, when you hear these words, know that it is but one thing, the implementation of Sustainable Development, which, rather than the good management of resources, it will mean denying land use and limiting use of resources; restricting individual liberty and limiting property rights as part of an economic and social agenda that is the hallmark of Marxist socialism. It has intruded into our schools and is indoctrinating our children.

The 3 planks of this agenda are intended to become global. One, "Social Equity", is no different than Communism and it is based on the principle that selfish interests must give way to the common good, or to the community. Private property is evil. It is this policy that also claims that 'borders' are unjust.

The second plank is "Economic Prosperity." It is this plank that advocates public-private partnerships over free enterprise. While they advise that wealth must be taken from the wealthy and distributed to the poor, in actual practice it becomes fascism, or corporatism, where government and some businesses reap huge rewards at the expense of the taxpayer. The new "green" industries are a good example of government grants and partnerships creating new wealth for the few, the "partners." It is monopoly capitalism by steath.

The third plank is "Ecological Integrity." Humans are to be treated no better than wildlife or any other form of nature. This can be found in the UN Biodiversity Treaty of 1992. It is embraced by Al Gore in his book, "Earth in the Balance." Man must sacrifice for the environment. While that might not sound so bad, it is bad when the judgement and control is placed in the hands of a few central planners, who locally answer not to the voter, but to a global entity. It is bad when these "planners" have values that ignore Biblical truths.

Today, we see this anti-property rights agenda embraced by many who actually think these are good ideas. Of course, it is most always embraced by those in government as it gives them more control, more power, and more ways to tax. Recently, Dalton was in the news for its' "visioning process." I noticed that they are following the Delphi Technique which is an unethical method of achieving consensus on controversial issues, a means of arriving at pre-determined results. The Delphi Technique is based upon the Hegelian Dialectic where one creates its' own opposition in order to manipulate that opposition and ridicules anyone who doesn't go along. They accomplish this thru meetings, usually dividing a large group into smaller more controllable groups and it is patterned after a communist tactic of crowd manipulation called the Diamond Tactic.

Repeating one who is fighting this assault on our liberty, Tom DeWeese states: "Civic leaders organize community meetings run by “facilitators,” as they outline a “vision” for the town, (or county), enforced by “consensus.” No need for debate when you have consensus! "

Visioning processes, when used for land-use planning can be manipulated through peer and mentor pressure that can influence participants beliefs. This highly influences the outcome of community consensus meetings, which of course is planned beforehand.

Most of the people involved on the ground floor of a local Visioning Process are sincerely convinced the steps being taken will lead to greater prosperity for the region and better life for its inhabitants. Elected public servants and hired staff may see Visioning as an opportunity to get a better fix on what their citizens want from government. Civic minded individuals volunteer their time and energy to these committees in order to do something positive for their community by improving living conditions, the economy and their future, as well as promoting proper environmental management and conservation practices. You can see just how easy it can be to be deceived, all the while thinking you are doing good, when it all sounds so good.

In 1995, "Our Global Neighborhood" was published by a UN Commission on Global Governance. It accuses humanity of multiplying too fast and threatening the earth's capacity to sustain them. It farther states that action must be taken to control this risk. So, who is to determine what action and enforce such action. If you are aware of the depopulation plan that has long existed, you should be even more alarmed at this. Land use is not all this evil agenda is about.

I remember that Mr Thornton indicated that he intended to have a series of three articles, so I suspect that he will soon be following up with his third. I hope that those who may be influenced by this Communist Socialist global government agenda that he is copying for his vision for Dade County will not be deceived by nice sounding words. I would also urge those who claim to be Christians to measure this agenda and the satanic ideology behind it with the Teachings of Jesus Christ and His liberty. I suspect that those who do so will not be deceived for by their fruits you will know them, when they come knocking again.
