THESE LYING TIMES.....Socialism is legalized theft
by Carl G Loy
Little wonder that so many are so deceived by Socialism when so many benefit from it. However, these benefits are at the expense of others thru legalized theft. Envy is in the details. People want what others have in order to have more of what they want for themselves. Government is their tool to be used for the taking and it is by force that most is taken, although for some it is volunteered due to deceit.
The secular world can have its' way, but why is the Christian deceived by socialism? How can the follower of Jesus Christ ignore His Teaching? There is nothing compatible between Roman Catholicism and its' own socialism and the Teaching of Christ that advocates liberty and choice, but what about the Baptists and Protestants? Nowhere in the New Testament does Jesus Christ or the Apostles advocate the taking from anyone for any reason by use of force, whether using government or otherwise.
What about insurance? We are brainwashed to think that we can't live without insurance. But, until government became involved, it was always by choice. Man desires to protect his worldly possessions and is willing to join with others to make the insurance companies and their controllers, wealthy, in order to protect their own wealth. They want someone else to bear their risks. The wealth they have bestowed upon the insurance companies has now become a powerful influence in government and upon legislators, generally an unintended side-effect. Still, as long as man had the choice of whether or not to endure his own risks and depend upon God for his safe protection if so inclined, liberty was still available in that choice. When government determined that the best good for the larger group was by forcing insurance upon the individual, (for instance, auto liability), it became a pure unadultrated example of legalized theft by forced participation in socialism. That is Marxist socialism. We have insurance for every conceiveable risk; health; death; possessions; mistakes; negiligent behavior; etc. The winners have been the 'masters' of the plans and their lawyers, as well as government. Our losses include the right to choose in many instances, but it is the socialistic mindset that it promotes that affects us all most greatly. To benefit, we must lose to gain but no gain is intended for the insured. In some instances, it is seen as a means to prevent loss; the loss of worldy possessions in a lawyer suing society. We want to be compensated for lost possessions while the insurance companies want compensated for taking the risk, or so we are led to believe, but the insurance companies do not take risk. They simply charge a large fee for spreading the risk among others. Irregardless, it has nothing to do with depending upon God and righteous behavior. Today, we look to insurance companies and government for our protection. We do not recognize God in this realm of human concerns. Depending solely upon God is just unimaginable to most and certainly is not governmentally correct.
Social security was initially sold as insurance for old age. Unions urged shorter work weeks; controlled work hours, and early retirement. Too old to work was soon joined by disabled and unable to work protection. Yet, today, we know that social security was never about insurance for the elderly, but just a political socialistic ponzi scheme by which to tax and control behavior. Social security is a tool of the antichrist beast system.
Medicare and medicaid, Peachcare, Tenncare, and whatever is named the individual state's social welfare programs are nothing less than forcing some of the group work force to share with others the benefits of their endeavors, while granting more and more revenue and control to the state. The beaucratic adminstration of these programs is aways rife with fraud and corruption and waste. It is one way the state eliminates the social mission of the true church with charitable giving, and replaces it with forced socialism.
Socialism is counterproductive and denies individual liberty its' fruits from productivity. No country has prospered as have those who, during brief periods of their history, have allowed liberty and free enterprize to flourish. A democracy is the perfect breeding ground for socialism. America is today a completed socialistic society headed for the trash heap, but its' partakers seem convinced it is the only means to achieve equality. They do not understand that equality as seen by the controllers is 'them' having much and everyone else being equally enslaved and poor. Those who benefit from the largess of the system often justify it as 'they deserve it.' They also envy the 'haves.' Bascially they want 'taken care of' for whatever is their reasoning. It's still wrong and immoral.
For the true Believer....Socialism is not compatible with the teachings of Jesus Christ
