"Endwatching" by Carl G Loy
There are those who spend endless hours just watching. For some, that watchful interest is directed to birds, or to wildlife in its' natural setting; it could be butterflies or bears. Some people go to malls just to people watch.
Endwatching is observing the current events of the time in which we live, accepting that the time is Biblically labeled as the 'endtimes.' Thus, we are Endwatchers, endwatching, watchmen on the wall, seeking with discernment to observe, share, and warn.
Endwatching cannot be practiced with complete discernment without a Christian worldview and perception. This requires the diligent study of Scripture, His Truth. We also believe that it requires a knowledge of the true history of Satan's world. Together, the knowledge of His Word and of man's time on earth in the physical realm, the True Follower of Jesus Christ can understand his own place in time and that the battle though it may appear to be physical, is actually a spiritual war, whereby Satan is seeking to become God in the lives of men and to rule the world in eternity.
The greatest problem facing the True Believer is not Satan, but self. We know that Satan has already been overcome, but we lose our focus and succumb to the desires of the flesh, just as Satan would have us do. Because we lose focus, we become victims to distraction and distraction is a great tool of Satan. Our distractions are of this world and they obscure the Kingdom that is not of this world. This world beckons and self responds because we have lost our focus on the Truth of the Master, Our Savior and Creator.
Distractions are made appealing. Distractions appeal to the weakest and most selfish carnal nature of man. Distractions come in all forms of deceit. Distractions are not often recognized as distractions. Distraction causes us to seek anwers for the wrong questions. Distractions are strongest in those who are spiritually immature and who know little about the history of man.
Distractions are indicative of lack of discernment.
Greatest at causing distractions are politicians, followed closely by, and often one and same, lawyers; educators, organizations, and religions all provide distractions, often by deceit.
Television, movies, sports, and church functions all play a role in providing distractions.
Distractions caused by government and its' bureacuracy are a growing threat to reclaiming our one true Focus. Appealing to selfish interests and practicing deceit, government distracts and lures us into a non-focused life, except as it relates to self with self dependent upon government, and it is a government that denies God. Government practices the religion of Humanism and that is the religion being taught in government schools.
Being distracted to the issues of 'reform,' funding, testing, goals, etc, we are led to attempt to answer the wrong questions and distracted from the real issue of why is an unconstitutional ungoldly government tax-enforced socialist indoctrination camp even allowed in a free republic? Beyond that, why aren't we asking from what source these school ideas originated?
Being easily distracted, and without proper focus, we are led like cattle to slaughter; but it's our children who are the preyed upon. And of course, children are manipulated and distracted in ways to overcome parental influences not deemed politically correct.
