These Lying Times....Recognizing Tyranny ( Part 1 of 2 )

What does a Tyrannical government look like? What are the characteristics of a tyrannical government? Should we be able to recognize tyranny? Ignorance is the best vehicle for the rise of tyranny and ignorance prevents us from recognizing tyranny. Government uses all its' assets to maintain an ignorant populace and to prevent the truth of their tyranny from becoming known.

There are some yardsticks to use to measure freedom, not the least of which is the Holy Scripture and the Constitution as defined in the Founding documents. The Magna Carta, the Articles of Confederation, and several other historical documents lend glimpses into what was perceived as freedom versus tyranny. History provides us with a view of what governments have done to oppress their people. A comparison of then and today, of the people's plight in the face of tyranny and how it came to be that way is valuable in determining just what is the nature of tyranny. True history is not taught because a tyrannical government does not want anyone to have that comparison. Painting a picture of the terrible deeds of ruthless kings and dictators while brainwashing its' people to see their own government as a benevolent care taker is the agenda the government of the United States of America embraces. Eventually, that fake persona is always exposed because a point is finally reached that it cannot hide from itself. We have reached that point in time; government tyranny can no longer hide its' tactics. The many brain dead will never awaken to it, but many are becoming more and more aware that something has gone terribly wrong during these last two hundred years as a freedom loving people became slaves under a tyrannical government. We are but serfs in their serfdom, indentured servants working against endless indebtedness that will never set them free.

Tyranny in its' early stages, can put on a pretty face and in America, the politicians and bureaucrats have certainly done all they could to do just that. While putting in place the types of laws and regulations and agencies to bring to fruition the oppression of the American people, they presented their motives as trying to help us, protect us, take care of us. It's called deceit and deception. When some few people questioned their motives, they were ridiculed and discredited. If their lies didn't work effectively to stifle opposition, convenient accidents and suicides did. It's called murder. When too many people began to wake up to something they were doing, all stops were pulled and the media and pundits went into high gear. It's called cover-up. Lies, deception and cover-ups along with theft and corruption are the traits to be found in the history of American politics and government. Do you suppose deception, murder, and cover-ups, thievery and corruption, are characteristics of a tyrannical government?

All governments in history have been an adversary of true Believers, but they brought those same people under control by deception and were in fact supported by many who failed to recognize their own deceit. We saw it in Germany and we are seeing it today in America. The incorporated churches of America are no more composed of true believers than is the secular world; they are just more deceived. Generally speaking, they bow to another master and support tyranny. At best, most are giving "implied consent". The pastors of this day and time will pay a heavy price when they stand before God for their judging. The Rick Warrens will not find solace in His Kingdom and that is a judgement based on fruits by which we are told to judge.

All governments have taken control of children's education. Mastery of subject matter became what the government wanted it to be and in the process, an ideology that programmed children to think and do as government deemed fit became the rule while parents were sidelined and manipulated. America has all but eliminated education without mind-control by the government. American education is about controlling behavior and attitudes and drugs are frequently used in American schools to subdue and control. Government does not want the true God in their schools and under the guise of political correctness and diversity, we see the contradictions to the Holy Scripture being taught, a curriculum that condones homosexuality, promotes sexual promiscuity, and circumvents parental influences. The American government controls the curriculum of the schools and that curriculum is designed to change the children's thinking so that they will accept the restructuring of government and loss of sovereignty. It is designed to make a world government acceptable, because the American government is not satisfied to simply rule the American people; they want to be a major part of the New World Order and one world government and they already are.

Today we are seeing the implementation of mental screening in schools, the forcing of vaccinations, forced use of drugs, and pressure to choose an occupation or profession at an early age under government scrutiny. Does the American school system sound like one that would be put in place under a tyrannical government? It does to me.

Historically, there has always been a few members of Congress who have tried to stand up against tyranny, but they have become less and today there is only one left who takes a stand against most of the aspects of tyranny that he sees taking place about him. This is not to say that I am advocating for him because I am not sure why he is making an attempt for the presidency. He must know that the forces he faces can not be persuaded to allow him to be seated even if they allowed him to be elected. Perhaps allowing him his 15 minutes is to make us believe that everything is fair and that anyone has a chance, but we know that is not true. I would like to think that he is sincere in his endeavor, and his record does make that appear to be so, but he could never be more threatened than if he was perceived to be a threat to the forces that rule.

The only person in Congress with a record of taking a stand against government tyranny has this to say:

Congressman Ron Paul says,

"The world's elites are busy forming a North American Union. If they succeed, as they were in forming the European Union, the good ol' USA will only be a memory. We cannot let that happen.

The UN wants to confiscate our firearms and impose a global tax. The UN elites want to control the oceans with the Law of the Sea Treaty. And they want to use our military to police the world.

Our right to own and use property is fading because bureaucrats and special interests are abusing eminent domain.

Our right to educate our children as we choose is under assault. "No Child Left Behind" is seeing to that. And our right to say "no" to forced mental screening of our school-aged children is nearly gone.

The elites gave us a national ID card. They also gave us the most misnamed legislation in history: The Patriot Act. And these same people are pushing to give amnesty to illegal immigrants and erase our national borders.

Record government debt is putting a burden on our children and grandchildren that is shameful.

Yes. Our American way of life is under attack. And it's understandable that many are concerned, even discouraged, about the kind of country our children and grandchildren will inherit."

Doesn't that sound like he might be referring to a tyrannical government? It does to me.

We can recognize tyranny if we simply weigh the acts of government against their words. But that difference is fast becoming moot. Today, they feel more confident to actually say what they mean and
what they mean does not bode well for the future our children and grandchildren will face.

Recently, I saw an ad on TV that depicted 3 Tennessee State Troopers with mean scolding expressions and threatening postures as one says, "If you drink and drive, we are going to get you." In Georgia and Tennessee, probation may include being made responsible to the oversight of a private corporation or person who administers the collection of fines along with their charges while people are allowed to pay off their fines for any number of offenses, from drugs to reckless driving. Does anyone see anything wrong with that picture? Should a private company profit in this manner? the state takes care of their buddies and this is just one of many examples of government and private companies being in bed together and feathering each other's nest. I know of many examples of persons profiting by collecting fines on installments from those who could not pay the exorbitant fines, so they were put on probation until paid and they were made to answer to a private individual, who was able to also add their fees to the amounts being collected, which is nothing more than legalized loan-sharking. One has to believe that there are some form of kick-backs i involved when government creates the basis for that type of business and then sends them their customers by the use of force. It is also creating a bed for corruption. These type of set ups and the fact that the state incarcerates such huge numbers of its' citizens, is indicative of a tyrannical government.

Yesterday, the newspaper carried a story about a local police department testing a new camera equipment. The camera was able to read over 1400 license plates within a couple of hours and provide info such as was the vehicle insured, properly registered, etc. One lady was given a ticket for lapsed insurance while she set in line at a bank drive-in window. According to the report, the official interviewed stated that the cost to equip each patrol car would be $35,000 to $40,000 each, but that it would come from drug money collected. Now ain't that just grand? At least, they won't have to depend on fines the equipment generates in order to pay for the equipment. Does anyone see that "force" is the basis for such actions being taken and it can only be the use of force or the threat of its' use that subjects the citizen to such tyrannical acts? Yes, we are living in a police state and a police state is nothing less than a tyrannical government. I think we should all start equipping ourselves with a taser as well as a deadly weapon just to protect ourselves from the tyrannical police forces in this country. Then we should march on the local politicians with tar and feathers.

to be continued.......
