The Contemplative Prayer....Deceived by Contemplative Spirituality
Right out of the Catholic playbook and the mysticism of Babylonian Hinduism and Buddhism comes the in-thing to many Protestant churches, the contemplative prayer. Yoga gets it's foot in the door of churches and into the homes of Christians with it's exercises and it is followed with it's mediation in the form of the contemplative prayer. For those who won't take the Yoga mediation step, this is just another approach to get you there with words that deceive. It's just more paganism in the church with the blind leading the blind, headed for disaster. Can you see what is happening here? When Christians choose to partake of the Yoga physical and breathing exercies, but think they won't get into the mediation aspect that is completely pagan, they are accepting the same thing in contemplative prayer and contemplative spirituality. I don't doubt that many who follow these false means seeking to get "closer to God," do so with the best of intentions and are sincerely seeking His Presence in their lives, but there is nothing Scriptural about these avenues to God using mysticism, and that is what contemplative prayer and contemplative spirituality embrace.
Vain repetition of words and phases is admonished in His Word and one of the characteristics of contemplative prayer includes that very thing. It is also the practice of Catholicism. Both Catholicism and Buddhism practice chants and the counting of beads / rosary. Monks, both Catholic and Buddhist, have long practiced un-Biblical meditation and mysticism. It has been made a practice of the so-called emerging church. It is showing up in mainstream Protestant churches as well.
Meditation, where the mind is made blank to allow the entering in of spirits has been practiced since ancient times. It is also the practice of contemplative prayer and the emerging church and has been advocated by the Pope. No where in Scripture do you find that Christians are supposed to blank out their mind in order to allow spirits in, and in fact, we are warned against it. Still, the words of those who spread this false message are accepted by many who sincerely believe it is a means of seeking God in their lives. Being "Born Again" does not fit into the advocacy of those promoting contemplative prayer. While finding a quiet place to avoid distraction at a time of prayer can be a good thing, concentration on the act of meditation is not Biblical and does not conjure up righteous spirits, nor God. However, according to Scripture, it can bring forth deceiving spirits; demons pretending to be good angels or even pretending to be God.
Why would Christian churches practice something so unscriptural; something practiced for centuries by Buddhist monks and Catholic Trappist and Benedictine monks? These type Christians will fit very well in the New World Order and its' One World Religion. The true Believer will be a misfit and seen as a terror to their deadly evil works in the name of doing good and worshiping God.
Deceived by the words, "God is in Everything"
Sounds good; sounds true when promoted by the oratory of false prophets, but the fact is that nowhere in the Bible does it say God is in everything. What about "not adding to God's Word" do these people not understand? Does no one judge man's words by His Word, anymore? It is God's Creation, but the world belongs to Satan. Just because God created a flower does not mean that He is in a flower. Here again we can see the influence of Catholicism and their Eucharist Jesus, a Cosmic Jesus, a Jesus that is in everything and everything can thus be worshiped. God warns about the worship of images. It is idolatry to worship images. Yet, we see that contemplative spirituality is based upon God being in everything and this is a part of the emerging church. Somewhere I've read that the emerging church and its' contemplative prayer and contemplative spirituality is the bridge between Catholicism and Protestant Christians and it appears this could very well be so. However, it is just more New Age beliefs infiltrating the churches and the minds of Christians, using any means it can to accomplish the goal of a one world religion under a pagan Masonic Pope.
The Jesuits were founded as a force to return the reformation dissidents to the Catholic folds. An evil secret society, the Jesuits were not restrained in their tactics to do so, whether by force or false persuasion. They are just as intent on their goals today as they were two hundred years ago; only their tactics have changed. As an influence in all aspects of our government and many universities and with a direct connection to Masonic one world goals, they are accomplishing the returning of Protestants to the Catholic fold under the guise of God is in all of us and in everything, and we can all pray in our own way to that god.
A Kingdom on Earth or A Kingdom not of this World?
Another false message of words to deceive coming from well-meaning Christians is that Christians are to establish His Kingdom on this earth. Yet the Bible tells us that God will establish His Kingdom on this earth upon His Second Coming and will Reign a thousand years. God does not tell us to prepare a place for Him, but that He will prepare a place for us. All we as Believers are supposed to do is to establish His Church in our hearts, in our minds and in formal fellowship with other Believers, and by example, by words and works, we are to administer to others, the sick and the needy, the orphans and widows, and spread His Gospel that all might hear His Message. The Holy Spirit takes it from there and His Will is Done. Basically, that's the mission of every true Believer and as Jesus Christ was our Example, so are we to be seen as 'Christ-like.'
God Says that His Followers are to live spiritually separate from the world and seek His Kingdom which is not of this world. There is no Godly nor righteous Kingdom on this earth until He Comes Again and man cannot make it happen. Yes, the Kingdom is at hand, but it is a spiritual faith that can be had now that assures the Believer that Following Jesus Christ will provide the open door to His Eternal Kingdom. We can have that assurance right now, but His Kingdom is not here now and will not be an earthly Kingdom, until His Timing, His Return.
Energy and time is wasted by those who preach an earthly kingdom now. Dominion over the earth was given to man, but ultimate dominion was given to Satan. No where does God tell His Followers to establish an earthly kingdom and prepare it for His Coming. Satan would not allow it and our efforts are wasted. We can only live in the world that exists but we should try to live as separately as possible so as not to be a part of it; so we do not partake of her sins. If we are involved in mysticism, we need to come out of it. If we are involved in un-doctrinal churches, we need to come out of her. If we are involved in secret societies such as Freemasonry, we need to extract ourselves from them. If we are participating in and supporting abominations whether it be by government or by churches or by organizations, we need to refuse and stand firm against them. The true Believer should not compromise.
