These Lying Times....Living Without Discernment in America (Part 2)

Some years ago, I wrote something related to the cause of immorality in society. I labeled it the loss of shame. What happened to conscience, the kind that comes from God? Of course, it involves much more than that because it is not just society, but Christians that have lost a sense of shame. Today, I will say that it is because of a lack of discernment that there seems no sense of shame. Christian values once offered a yardstick by which to measure morality and righteous living, but that yardstick, the Bible is little studied and understood and without which discernment is not available. We should expect no less from Satan's world, but why has it affected Christians? I think that it is because there are so many claiming to be Christian but are not, as seen by their fruits. Churches have opened their doors to the world. They have made it their mission to please people, rather than to please God. They try to make God popular by offering entertainment in order to attract numbers and grow their church, regardless of the fact that so many who join are not repentant and have not found the real God. Seeker friendly can mean witnessing to the lost, but it has come to mean more the pleasing of man, than truly witnessing. Purpose driven could mean following God's Teaching, but it has come to mean a numbers game with goals that are not based on Scripture. God's Word is not popular in the world and no amount of dressing it up in false doctrines will make the real gospel any more appealing, because changing it has compromised its' meaning and it is no longer His Word. Those who change the Word in direct rebellion of His Command that It is not to be changed will suffer His Wrath in extreme measure. Where does that leave the Rick Warren's and Tim LaHaye's, Robert Schuller's and Benny Hinn's, and Billy Graham? They and many more have preached a different Gospel and led many astray. Is Freemasonry a common thread? Is that where the false teaching comes from? It would appear so. Those who are without discernment are being led down the wrong path. The lack of discernment on the part of most Christians is alarming and that may be because most are not really true Believers. Many have heard the Words but knew not what they heard. Many are hearing a word that has been changed and are pleased by what they hear. Because they love not the Truth, they have had discernment withheld from them.
Another time I wrote something about the loss of common sense. Today, I realize that it is the loss of discernment. What we see among the politicians and government that seems to defy common sense, is our own lack of discernment. They know what they are doing and while it does defy common sense, we don't discern their real motives. It makes sense to them. They have a plan and it is not the plan they present to us. Our concept of common sense does not equate to their motives and actions, so we are left mystified because we lack discernment. It is idolatry that Christians look to politicians and government for the answers to the problems in their lives. It is to participate in theft to look for government to take from others or to indebt future generations that we may have some benefit. Yet, most Christians seem to think that government has the answer and seem unconcerned about effects on others. It has been said that this is the "me" generation. Shame on Christians that they fit this description, little different from the secular world. Shame on Christians that partake of her sins and seek benefits from. Shame on Christians that can't tell the difference between Satan's plan and God's Plan.
Churches lack spirituality, but they don't lack spiritualism. If you are seeking a church I'd suggest a small rural church and attending their Wednesday night prayer service. While they may have over a hundred in Sunday morning Sunday School, and more for the sermon, perhaps only 20 to 25 will be in attendance on Wednesday night. They are probably the true believers dedicated to their church. The rest are Sunday morning Christians, most deceived about their own salvation. The rest are the world in the church. Mega churches have little to offer except more of the world under the cover of religion. They are about numbers and buildings, plying upon emotions, rendering entertainment but little in the way of real spirituality. Usually, you will find Freemasons in leadership roles in these mega churches. Is that a part of the problem? Lack of discernment is the predominant characteristic of these churches and they lack a knowledge of the Truth. Spiritualism is a cover word for witchcraft. You are more likely to find spiritualism in these churches than you are to find spirituality. Unfortunately, most don't recognize the paganism that exists in our nation, in government, in churches, in society. Many, thinking they are practicing Christians, are actually practicing pagans, such is their deceit and lack of discernment.
Because of lack of discernment, the Christian has fallen for the lie of Satan in the Garden, that ye shall surely not die. Pagans believe in life after death and Christians have fallen for that lie. Yet, God has said, Ye will surely die, and that there is no life after death. He says the living will know that they will die, but the dead hath no knowledge. Pagans believe in one or more lives after death such as reincarnation, or that they die and become a star, etc. Christians believe that they die and go to Heaven. Yet, God says that the dead shall rise upon His Return. He doesn't say that death doesn't exist for the believer. Upon His Timing, we are raised from the dead in new bodies. The old bodies are dead forever. Satan has dressed his paganism in deceiving clothes. Satan has been so good at it that many worship him, thinking they are worshipping the true God. Evidence of this is everywhere. God called Satan, that old devil, the serpent, the snake who brought sin and death to mankind. Yet, the American Medical Association uses the symbol of a serpent as their logo. Here you can see that Satan, who cares not for the well-being of anyone, is symbolized by a profession that supposedly does care. The hexagram is an occult symbol but it is used as a symbol for nation Israel, deceiving Christians while pretending to be God's Chosen people. Messianic Jews claim the source of the hexagram is King David, but that is simply not true. It originated with Nimrod and pagan Babylon. Messianic Jews and Judeo-Christians are oxymoron's. Both have changed the Gospel to fit their own beliefs. Both want to hang onto false beliefs. Judaism is anti-christ. Trying to meld two belief systems is to distort the Scripture.
Americans seem to have lost their way, in these times, depending upon those who have made the mess we're in and are offering no way out, except to make it worse. Economists seem perplexed to offer a solution, but they all have ideas, none really addressing the root cause. Christians seem no better off and can't seem to find a solution. That's rather strange. Christians have been promised much by their Lord. "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." That is not a promise to America. It is not a promise to Israel the nation state. It is a promise to His Chosen, a separate people, a people who can live in America or anywhere else in the world, living differently in the land of their bondage with faith and dependence upon Him. It was a message for His People then, a nation astray, and it is timely for today, but today it is for a nation of people dispersed. We tend to think of America as being a special place and it is. It is an especially special place to Satan. America has been the enabler for evil to rule the world since World War I. In spite of all the churches on all the city street corners; in spite of all the propaganda about America being a Christian nation, America has enabled the Satanic agenda to advance its' goals with commensurateness to the Roman and British Empire. It's a thread of religious paganism that endures. Wickedness, under the cover of Christianity, is America's greatest characteristic, today. Without discernment Christians support American atrocities, here and abroad, committed in her name. Yet, so very few see and understand for lack of discernment. Why? Most are under the mind control of evil forces. Few study to show themselves approved. Very few understand that their only hope is not found in Satan's worldly governments, but in repentance and faith in the God of Abraham and the promises of the Son, Jesus Christ, without which there is no protection from the satanic forces that will rule their minds that they may be deceived and worship the wrong god.
