F.E.M.A.'s Katrina: A Trial Run?

FEMA has been rightly criticized for it's ineptness in dealing with the hurricane crisis, but was this lack of timely response and appearances of disorganization, intentional? Are we now going to see FEMA made more powerful, given more funds and more authority and both with our approval? Have we been painted a picture of chaos so that now we will be accepting to an offered solution, even if it is restrictive of liberties? Many seem to think the entire hurricane event was planned for this very reason. Irregardless of whether it was, or was not planned, it is our reaction that is gauged and our perception of how government responded that is beneficial to the globalist cabal that is our government. They see the results in human behavior both in those directly affected in the immediate area of devastatiion and in those who react and respond in outlying areas. In the latter case, they are able to manipulate those responses thru the controlled media. In the directly affected, they are able to judge reactions in those who find their freedoms assaulted in various ways. Suddenly, many found that not only were they without any rights to protect their property, or their person, but that their very person was practically imprisoned under terrible conditions, exposed to both civilian and government criminal elements with no recourse, but to primitively endure in a controlled environment created by the very government agencies they had been led to believe were sources of assistance in times of crisis.
While many Christians seem to want to blame God, or at least refer to such as this event and that of 9/11 as a "Wake up call" which is actually a round-about way of 'blaming' God, they ignore that the wake-up call should also be to alarm us that government is what we should really wake up about. If government caused these events, then of course God allowed it, but couldn't it just as well be that He has allowed government this latitude as a means of exposing the atrocities government will commit when we place our faith in man? Even if government is not directly complicit, we should still judge the behavior of government in the pre-hurricane planning and during the aftermath.
Do we have the eyes to see and the ears to hear? Can we see and understand the reaction of government, (albeit faked or planned), to curtail liberties and increase the power of government? Can we see and understand the relationship of our having embarked on socialism, as being in our best interests, is the beast that actually allows our liberties to be destroyed in the interests of the state under these circumstances? If anything was most evident these past several days, it was how we look to government for all our needs. However, also evident were the charitable hearts spoken of in His Word. In spite of obstacles placed by government and its' agencies to the outreach of charitable givers and helpers, many were able to get thru and do good deeds, administering to both physical and spiritual needs. With minimum resources private parties and organizations more directly offered aid than the bloated government agencies, even though government prevented it as much as possible. This should be our wake-up; that massively funded socialistic bureaucracies are not the solution for our problems; neighbor helping neighbor is.
In my opinion, the government / F.E.M.A involvement was the disaster, not the hurricane. It began long before any hurricane. Looking to government, depending on government, feeling safe in government, paved the way for catastrophe. The hurricane was not a disaster; it's government controlled aftermath was. It's consequences resulted from socialism. It's legacy will be that of a major step in the tightening controls of the police state. What government learned was more about to what we will submit, and how we react, than how to better prepare and handle a natural (or man-made) crisis to prevent suffering. We saw the first modern use of an American concentration camp, since the Japanese were interned during WWII.

I will add that the same government that gave you FEMA, gives you government schools that endorse everything government does; that is, except they do provide reasons to change government. You see, government has been restrained by that old-fashioned out-dated constitution, which we must ignore, or change, or treat as "a living doctrine," so that government can do a better job. That's what your child in government school is made to understand. The same government that gave you EPA, Endangered Species, and the like, also indoctrinates your child with the same propaganda. The same government that gave you the United Nations, and accepts it's Agenda 21 sustainable development principles, brainwashes your child to accept sustainable development, globalism and international rule.
The same government that gave you abortion and homosexual acceptance and denied Jesus Christ in the public forum, teaches humanism and it's immorality to your child.
Government lies; people believe; lies become truth and few are the wiser. Today's lie becomes tomorrows truth; if exposed, a lie is replaced with another lie. Those are the same people who wrote the curriculum your child learns in their schools. You don't think a Catholic school would teach Baptist doctrine, do you? Well, government's own evolutionist, humanist philosophy schools are not going to teach Christianity. In order to be seen as master, government must destroy any competition. At whose feet do we bow? It appears that we worship the state at every opportunity.
